Evenflo Symphony Lx Car Seat

I bought this car seat in the beginning of August. My son is three and above average in height and weight. I bought three other car seats in a week that stated that they were made to go up to 110lbs However, I would get them home and the crotch buckle wouldn’t adjust to fit properly, or the shoulder belt didn’t have enough room for him to grow into. So, three car seats in a week before deciding on the Evenflo Symphony Lx.

I am no car seat expert but I do know how a car seat should be properly installed and adjusted to fit my child so that he is safe. We decided to take him to Babies R Us and actually try him in a few car seats. They were less expensive car seats that state that he will fit in them. However, getting him in them and comfortable and safe was another story.

I absolutely love The Evenflo Symphony Lx car seat. It is a large car seat. I love that he has room and is not squished up. He is able to sit in it comfortably and if he falls asleep there is a beautifully padded headrest that he can comfortably lay his head on without it flopping all over the place. He is currently forward facing with the five point harness. This is a great feature! My son is autistic and having a five point harness is fantastic! Keeps him safe and secure!

The tempright performance fabric is an excellent feature. My son runs hot and this is the only seat that he doesn’t get drenched in. I love that this helps regulate his body temperature. It’s been wonderful to arrive at a destination and not have to change his clothing because he’s soaked in sweat. We recently went on a trip to Idaho, which is five hours away and he was perfectly dry when we arrived.

I think this car seat is a great value for the price point which was $220.00. We love this car seat and the safety features are amazing.
